Doo Wright is a non-profit organization that God impressed upon my heart to establish on January 22, 2022. The name was originally thought of because of someone near and dear to me, my uncle Michael Wright, I watched him as I was growing up doing for and giving to our youth. I say originally because God gave me a deeper revelation of the name. “Doo” means dove and in the bible a dove is sent out in Genesis to see if the waters had descended, to look for dry land (Gen. 8:8). Just like we send our children out into the world with the hope that they will land on dry land and not drown. A dove is a feeble and gentle bird, just like our children. Wright is my maiden name and it was only befitting because my dad would always say a “Wright” is always right.
Doo Wright will be stewarded by myself Tasheba Wright-Brown, Anthony Brown, Latravia Wright, Karonisha Barthelemy, and Jude Barthelemy. We are dedicating our time and effort to reshape the future of the next generations with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the foundation of this incorporation and nothing that is presented to you through this incorporation will be from our feelings but from the wisdom of God. Your child doesn't have to know God to reap the benefits of this incorporation but I must tell you that they will learn who God is through it. What I'm going to say next will sound cliché but it's the truth. The children are our future and we must start to Doo Wright by them.
Doo Wright offers the "Cash in Report Card" (CRC) program, funding for tutoring, scholarships, as well as a summer travel program. Registration is required for participation.
